Esther Marie Versch of West Lafayette had her art work accepted with the American Plains Artists in the 28th annual juried Exhibition Art of the Plains at the Museum of the South West in Midland Texas Art Show opening Aug. 16 to Oct. 14.

Versch is an award-winning artist for her Indian and Western paintings some of which her Indian artifacts subjects are from the Johnson Humrickhouse Museum Collection. She is a member of Artist Friends of the Pomerene Center for the Arts, The Women Artists of the West American Plains Artists, and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and is included in Who's Who in America Who's Who in the West, Who's Who of American Women and American Artists of Renown 1981-1982.
