GNADENHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Historical Society will be hosting its annual Pioneer Days Festival on Aug. 4-5 at the museum grounds located at 352 Cherry St., Gnadenhutten.
The Pioneer Princess contest will take place Friday, Aug. 3.
This year's pioneer encampment will be a reunion for all those who previously participated in Pioneer Days' encampments.
The Gnadenhutten Historical Society is asking all those who participated in prior years' Pioneer Days to come and join the campers for the reunion or just come to visit.
Among the festivities are the encampment where visitors will get a look at what life was like for the pioneers in the early 1800s. Vendors and crafters will also be on hand to sell their wares.
Also, a special crock auction is set for Sunday at 2 p.m.
Admission is free. All proceeds benefit the Gnadenhutten Historical Society.
