Lots of activities planned at Fresno Presbyterian Church

FRESNO -- The Fresno Presbyterian Church, 54169 White Eyes Township Road 172 or Main Street, Fresno, will be hosting outdoor worship services through Aug. 26 at 11 a.m.

The Royalaires from Circleville have been invited back to present a concert in southern gospel music at the Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. A picnic lunch will follow.

According to the Rev. Peter Mathewson, pastor, a great summer of music and worship is planned. The services will take place inside in case of bad weather.

The public is invited to any and all of the services.

Church to have Vacation Bible School

STONE CREEK -- Grace Community Church in Stone Creek is sponsoring Vacation Bible School on Aug. 8, 9 and 10 for children ranging from 3 years old up to children entering the fifth grade.

The theme is "Putting on God's Armor: Are You Ready?"

Each session at the church begins at 5:30 p.m. with a free meal provided for all attendees, their families and Bible school workers.

Bible school then begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.

Pine Ridge Boys in concert

STONE CREEK -- A Southern Gospel concert with the Pine Ridge Boys will be Friday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church.

The church is located at 229 W. Jefferson St. in Stone Creek. The concert is free but a love offering will be taken.
