Students in grades 2-8 that live in the East Elementary School end of town can walk to the East Elementary School in the morning and ride a bus from East Elementary School to the West Elementary School or to the Newcomerstown Middle School. Kindergarten and first grade students that live in the west end of town can walk to the West Elementary School in the morning and ride a bus from the West Elementary School to the East Elementary School. School buses will not pick up students within the borders of the village unless a student is physically handicapped. The out-of-town bus routes will remain the same as last year. Some minor bus route changes may occur after the start of the school year to balance routes. For questions about a particular bus route, call Dave Cathey at the Newcomerstown Bus Garage at 498-5507 or Matt Ritzert at the Newcomerstown High School at 498-5111.
