COSHOCTON -- Who cannot remember their first car? There may be even some of you who remember their parents' first car. Such power, such possibility, such freedom. These are memories that stick and make us smile. Share those smiles and recollections on Sept. 13 at noon at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. My First Car is the topic of September's Our Town Stories gathering. Join in the conversation about this special event in your or your family's life. If you can, bring in a photo for the rest of the group to see. Perhaps there were other special times or people connected to that car.
Our Town Stories is an informal time of reminiscing about life in Coshocton 50 or more years ago. If you are too young to share a personal story or a transplant to the area, come and enjoy the stories. Free beverages and cookies will be provided, and admission for the program is free.
Our Town Stories is presented on the second Thursday of each month. October's topic is Wakes, Funerals and Cemeteries.
For information, contact the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum at 740-622-8710 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton. Museum hours May through October are noon to 5 p.m. daily.
