CAMBRIDGE -- Southeastern Med will host a free skin cancer screening on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Community HealthLink, 1205 Clark St., in Cambridge.

Drs. Michael Sarap and Joshua Paulick, surgeons from Southeastern Ohio Physicians, Inc., will be on-site to evaluate areas of concern for people with moles or other skin spots that may appear to be abnormal.

According to the American Cancer Society, skin cancer is the most common of all cancer types, and more than 2 million skin cancers are diagnosed each year in the United States. With the fall and winter months approaching, now is the perfect time to have your skin checked and learn more about how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from skin cancer.

Appointments are not required for this screening.
