NEW PHILADELPHIA -- All area children ages 7 through 14 are welcome when the Tuscarawas Philharmonic Children's Chorus begins rehearsals on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart school building in New Philadelphia for its annual performance with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic.

The always-popular traditional concert, titled "Yuletide Celebration: Let It Snow!" will be performed Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas at 7:30 p.m.

Final on-stage rehearsals will take place Friday evening, Dec. 14, and Saturday afternoon, Dec. 15.

No audition is required and there is no charge to participate, but students should come a little early to sign in. Parents are asked to note the change of rehearsal location:

The school is located on the corner of Fair Avenue NE and Third Drive NE across from the New Philadelphia Fair Avenue cemetery.

Participants should enter by the door off 3rd Dr. NE. Music will be provided.
