John Tedrick, Eagle Scout candidate of the Birmingham Troop 560, instructs Matt Simmerman, l, and James Kimble, r, both assistant scoutmasters of Troop 560, how he wants one of the benches placed in the Birmingham Cemetery. Due to the distance off the road, the benches were added so those walking back to the cemetery could have a place to rest. The Eagle Scout Project also included the re-setting of numerous cemetery stones an a flower bed on each side of the entrance. A total of 16 people were involved in this project and over 130 hours of work was donated to complete the work, according to Scoutmaster Harold George.
