DOVER -- The Dover Public Library will be hosting its third annual Overdue Open House on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 2 to 5 p.m.

The library will open its doors to the public for an afternoon of family fun, including children's games, balloon animals, storytelling, a magician, live music, a bake sale, and a prize raffle.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Children's Department renovation project.

Live music includes performances by The Kodachrome Babies, Valleytown, and Atom Lax. Professional magician Jeff Conley will perform throughout the afternoon, as well as storyteller Joyal Pittman.

Raffle prizes include dozens of gift certificates and prize baskets from local businesses and organizations as well as a custom-made Dover Public Library quilt.

It is the library's hope to begin the Children's Department renovation project, which is estimated to cost $80-85,000, in the later part of 2013.
