The Newcomerstown Citizens' Scholarship Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year for Newcomerstown graduate students in their second, third, fourth or fifth year of undergraduate programs taking a full-time course of study in their career field or choice.
Applications are available at the Newcomerstown High School Guidance Office, the Bambeck Accounting Office, or from Dennis Belle. The application may be turned in at the same places.
They must be filed on or before June 15, along with an official registrar's signed transcript to verify their cumulative grade point average. Failure to meet the filing deadline or the transcript will nullify the application. If there is any question or problems about the transcript, contact Belle at 498-6575. They do not know that some schools can not get them out by June 15 date, but the application must be in by the June 15 deadline. No application will be accepted after that date. They will be awarding the scholarships until everything has been accepted and checked.
