Every Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District bus passed inspection by the Ohio Highway Patrol in July. Students in grades 2-5 that live in the East Elementary School end of town, can walk to the East Elementary School in the morning and ride a bus from East Elementary School to the West Elementary School or to Newcomerstown Middle School.

Kindergarten and first grade students that live in the west end of town, can walk to the West Elementary School in the morning and ride a bus from the West Elementary School or to the East Elementary School. School busses will not pick up students within the borders of the village unless a student is physically handicapped. The out-of-town bus routes will remain the same as last year. Some minor bus route changes may occur after the start of the school year to balance routes.

If you have questions on a particular bus route, call the Superintendent's Office at 498-8373 or the Newcomerstown Bus Garage at 498-5507. Students riding the bus to Buckeye Career Center should be at Newcomerstown High School by 6:50 a.m.
