KIMBOLTON -- On Oct. 12 and 13, 1984, the Kimbolton Homecoming celebrated its centennial year. As a result of the successful centennial celebration, the Kimbolton Homecoming Committee was formed.

On Jan. 9, 1996, the fire department agreed to sell the old firehouse on Main Street for the sum of $10,000. At a subsequent meeting, Shirley Sarchet, homecoming committee secretary, presented the proposal to the homecoming committee and it was approved. Paul Sarchet and Dana McPeak were assigned the duty of obtaining financing.

On Dec. 3, 1998, the Kimbolton Homecoming Committee, Inc. was incorporated as a nonprofit entity.
