Soul'd Out Quartet to perform
WEST LAFAYETTE -- The presence of God will be felt Friday, Dec. 6 at the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette when the Soul'd Out Quartet makes its appearance at 7 p.m.
The Soul'd Out Quartet is based out of Georgetown and is a group of five young men who write and perform gospel music. They sing everything from contemporary Christian music to old hymns passed down through the generations.
The quartet is returning due to overwhelming requests from last year's performance. It will be a free concert with a love offering to be taken during the event that will go towards helping the group with their expenses.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and performance starts at 7 p.m.

Happy Holidays Bazaar set
GNADENHUTTEN -- The annual Happy Holidays Bazaar at the Gnadenhutten United Methodist Church (220 N. Walnut St.) will be Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be homemade candies, cookies, sugar cakes, crafts, lunch and homemade soups for sale.
'On Christmas Day' to be
COSHOCTON -- The music department of the Roscoe United Methodist Church announces the presentation of "On Christmas Day" arranged and written by Marty Parks on Sunday, Dec. 15 during the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. services. The 55-minute presentation to be held in the church sanctuary will feature the 22 voice chancel choir and 15 piece orchestra with narration. The service will conclude with the singing of The Hallelujah Chorus with audience participation.
The general public is invited to this performance for Christ's Edification and your listening enjoyment. Roscoe UMC in located at 475 High St., Coshocton, (Historic Roscoe Village). Pastor Steve Sullivan and Music Director Les Widder cordially invites the community to this event.
Community Christmas dinner set
A Community Christmas dinner is set for Dec. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown.
They will be serving ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, rolls, cookies and drinks.
Santa will make a visit to read stories, and share cookies and hot chocolate with the children.
This event is being sponsored by the Newcomerstown High School Rotary Interact group.
