At right, Indian Valley High School will be presenting Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7. Showtime is 7 p.m. in the Indian Valley High School Auditorium in Gnadenhutten. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $7 and can be reserved by calling the high school at 740-254-4262. Set in the Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the century, this high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. The role of Curly is being played by senior cast member Nathan Wenger. Laurey is being played by Madison Kenney, also a senior. Other feature roles include Alexa Anderson as the memorable Ado Annie, Nick McWilliams as Will Parker, Kyle O'Connor as Jud Fry, Noah Shaw as the Peddler and Allison Kenney as Aunt Eller. The cast includes over 30 singers and dancers from grades 8-12.
