The Newcomerstown High School Marching Band will have its holiday concert on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. in the middle school.

The high school band will be playing selections highlighting this year's marching season and songs from the upcoming Russell Athletic Bowl, as well as three Christmas songs.

The concert will also feature six players in the sixth grade band on the song, "Jolly Old St. Nick." Those featured include, Madison Fish, Hannah Gamble, Hunter Garretson, Reagan Smith, Kimberly Halsey and Kaianna Shalosky.

The sixth graders will also be playing "Up on a House Top," "Jingle Bells" and "My Dreydl."

The seventh grade band will be playing "Silent Night" and "A Holiday Processional."

The bands are under the direction of Joel Hillwig with assistant band director Trevor Biggs, and the Trojanette and majorette advisor Lacey Bright.
