DOVER -- Union Hospital in Dover has announced the successful conclusion of its 2013 Annual Fund Campaign. Monte Ball, UH director of fund development, said it was the generosity of families and business donors in the community as well as UH employees that enabled the campaign to surpass its goal.

"We ended the campaign with a total of $100,025, surpassing our goal," Ball said. "The generosity of our community and employees was amazing. I want to thank everyone who participated."

The money raised will be used to help the hospital purchase new patient care equipment.

"This will better enable Union Hospital to acquire new state-of-the-art equipment and fulfill its mission of providing this community a local option for high quality medical care," Ball added.
