Mike's Body Shop in Newcomerstown is now celebrating 21 years in business, and with that comes the reputation for being honest and dependable.

Owner Mike Kehl said there have been changes to the shop, located at 530 Heller Drive, Newcomerstown, and to the web site, www.mikebodyshop.com.

He also said that his son, Mitchell, has become the shop's manager.

The shop, which opened in 1993, works on minor and major collision repairs, unibody and conventional frame repair, paint touch up for scratches and dings, replacement of all manufacturer's original equipment parts such as headlamps, taillights, grills, mirrors, moldings, handles, wheels, etc.

Mike's Body Shop services all makes and models of automobiles including, foreign and domestic.

They also offer free estimates on work, as well as works with insurance claims and offers limited lifetime warranties.

They are ASE certified, and use Chisum Prodigy Frame Equipment and Shark Computerized Frame Measuring System.

Mike's Body Shop is also working on towards a Green Belt certification which consists of an intense classroom and shop floor exercises that are aimed at giving a shop the competitive advantage of quality, speed and cost. Over 2,200 owners, managers, technicians, and shop employees have completed this training.
