Kent State recognized more than 8700 undergraduate students who were named to Dean's List for Fall 2016 and fourteen of those students are from Newcomerstown.

Nathaniel Bourne, Kylee Dean, Amber Emler, Lindsey Garretson, Joshua Green, Benjamin Hartline, Kara Jenkins, Shannon Kincaid, Rachel Kirker, Rachel Kistler, Kathryn Montgomery, Ashley Wheeler, Haley Wiggins, and Cora Zickel, all of Newcomerstown, were named to the Fall 2016 Dean's List.
