COSHOCTON Human remains found in the Wills Creek area of Linton Township in southern Coshocton County on Monday are believed to be that of Michael L. Hamm, 26, of Coshocton, who has been missing since May 16.

Foul play is suspected.

 

Authorities are awaiting identification to be made by Dr. Robert Gwinn of the Coshocton County Coroner’s Office, according to Sheriff Tim Rogers.

Three men remain at the Coshocton County Justice Center in connection with the murder investigation.

On May 16, Hamm’s family and friends reported him missing. That started an in-depth investigation as to his whereabouts.

Three days later, a Ford Ranger belonging to Hamm was located and recovered in Linton Township. On Sundayand into the early morning hours of Monday, deputies took the three suspects into custody.
