Summer means family reunions and barbeques. But how much do you know about your family history? Your local Newcomerstown Public Library can help.

Nestled in the local history section is a wall of family history and family trees put together by your neighbors. The family list includes: Addy, Birgman, Bassett, Bier, Buker, Couts, Craig, Crawford, Creter, Culbetson, Cunard, Dakin, Docking, Dorsey, Durben, Ellis, Emerson, Emler, Everal, Fenton, Fletcher, Fowler, Gunn, Hammersley, Hartline, Haught, Heller, Hinds, Jordan, Lehman, Leiser, Little, Lyons, Marlatt, Mayes, McCall, Meeks, Miskimmins, Moore, Mulvane, Murphy, Neoga, Norman, Nugen, Ortt, Pilling, Platter, Quillen-Baker, Rickey, Swazy, Roahrig, Rufenacht, Schupp, Scott, Stewart, Stilgenbauer, Stolz, Swaim, Sweitzer, Umstott, Vance, Vause, Vinsel, Wayman, Weimer, Welker, Wheatley, Wiggins, Wilson, Wright, Yingling, and Young. Of course, if you have a family history and genealogy you want to donate, bring it in. Every family history added to your Library's collection helps others with their genealogy hunt.

Speaking of family food outings, the Library will host the "Taste the World" event Friday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or when the food runs out. Try recipes from around the world in this free sampling event. Summer reading continues each Tuesday at 1 p.m. Free summer lunches continue at the Annex from 11 a.m. to noon throughout summer.
