DOVER -- The Friends of the Dover Public Library will hold their annual Book Sale on Friday, Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thousands of books, audiobooks, DVDs, and other items will be available for a donation to the Friends of the Library. Proceeds from the event will benefit the library's "Time to Check Out Your Future" Capital Campaign.

The library is fundraising for a remodeling of the Adult, Teen and Basement areas of the library. The mission of the Friends of the Library is to enhance the Dover Public Library so that it may fulfill its literary, educational, technological, community and cultural purposes. Donations of new and gently used books can be dropped off at the library during normal working hours.
