SUGARCREEK — Visiting Ridgewood High picked up a win over Strasburg in Inter-Valley Conference girls’ golf action Monday at Willandale Golf Course.

The Lady Generals finished with a team score of 227 to outdistance the Lady Tigers’ total of 230.

Sadie Wilson led RHS with 52, followed by Lexi Zimmer (54), Brianna Brady (60), Sydney Matis (65), Hallie Reed (65) and Ally Dotson (79).

WEST LAFAYETTE — Indian Valley High dropped a dual match with New Philadelphia High in girls’ golf action at River Greens Golf Course on Monday.

The Lady Quakers posted a team score of 175 while the Lady Braves fell short with a team score of 190.

Leading the way for IVHS was Olivia Shaw with a 44 followed by Makayla Keithly (46), Mady McDaniel (48) and Kiera Brown (52).

Pacing New Philadelphia was Kayla Dyer with a 40 followed by Kylie Dyer (42), Allie Jerkovich (44) and Chloe Felgenhauer (49).

WEST LAFAYETTE — Indian Valley finished as the low scorer in a non-conference triangular match at Hickory Flats Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Lady Braves posted a 184 total to slip past River View who had a 189 total and host Ridgewood finished with a 215.

Pacing Indian Valley in individual scores was match medalist Makayla Keathley who carded a 41. Other scorers included Kiera Brown with a 43, Elle McDaniel with a 49 and Mady McDaniel with a 51.

River View had three players, Marie Stufflebean, Shelby Byland and Kailyn Shalosky, each fire a 47. Emma Anderson rounded out the team scoring with a 48.

Leading the Lady Generals was Sadie Wilson and Lexi Zimmer each carding a 50. Hallie Reed followed with a 55 and Brianna Brady completed the team score firing a 60.

WEST LAFAYETTE — Ridgewood claimed a 174-203 Inter-Valley Conference golf win over the Newcomerstown Trojans Tuesday at River Greens Golf Course.

Ridgewood got consistent scoring led by match medalist Trey Stoffer who carded a 41. Adam Matusik was close behind with a 42 while Kenny Lott added a 45 and Ryan Zinkon a 46 for the 174 team total.

Newcomerstown was paced by Brandon Cutshall who fired a 46. Other team scorers included Levi Kilpatrick with a 50, Chase Arnold in at 51 and Thurman Gibson rounded out the team total with a 56.

WEST LAFAYETTE — Despite playing on its home course at River Greens Golf Course, the Ridgewood High girls team finished in third place in a tri-match with River View and New Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The Lady Bears took the win with a team score of 183, followed by the Lady Quakers with 184 with the Lady Generals posting a 195.

Marie Stufflebean of River View and Kayla Dyer of New Philadelphia shared medalist honors each with a round of 41.

Leading the RHS effort was Sadie WIlson with 45, followed by Lexi Zimmer (46), Brianna Brady (49), Hallie Reed (55), Sydney Matis (60) and Ally Dotson (67).

SUGARCREEK — Behind match medalist Dylan Tucker carding a 39, the Strasburg Tigers defeated Newcomerstown 163-178 in Inter-Valley Conference golf action Thursday at Willandale Golf Course.

Trey Stoffer and Ryan Zinkon paced the Generals with identical scores of 41 followed by Kanny Lott with a 43 and Cody Ramsey rounded out the team scoring shooting a 53.

WEST LAFAYETTE - Dylan Kaufman carded a two-under par 34 to lead the visiting Hiland Hawks to a 154-188 Inter-Valley Conference golf win over the host Newcomerstown Trojans at Hickory Flats Golf Course on Thursday.

Other scorers for Hiland included Claye Hummel with a 39 and Bruce Yoder in with a 40 while Temper Koblentz and Johnny Mullet each fired a 41.

Pacing the Trojans was Thurman Gibson with a 39. Other scorers were Levi Kilpatrick with a 44, Brandon Cutshall with 51 and Chase Arnold with 54.
