Nothing says Christmas like Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol." And no one performs it better than Gerald Charles Dickens, l, the great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens. Chris Hart of Newcomerstown, a local expert on all things Dickens, met Gerald Dickens at an event in Cambridge on Nov. 3. Hart portrays many characters, including some of those created by Charles Dicken, Gerald Dickens decided to continue the notion of Charles Dickens’ reading tours in 1993, and audiences enjoyed his annual readings of "A Christmas Carol." Alas, one evening Gerald could not locate his book. What would he do? He decided to see how much of it he remembered. The rest is history.
