DOVER — The Dover Public Library will host a community paint night with local artist Jayne Swartzwelder on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.

Participants will learn how to paint a beautiful sunflower on burlap canvas and will enjoy refreshments and conversation. This class will be limited to 24 students and all skill levels are welcome. Class fee is $30 and will be due the night of the event. All proceeds benefit the library's Time to Check Out Your Future Capital Campaign--an initiative to raise funds for a remodel of the library's adult, technology and teen departments.

Jayne Swartzwelder is a New Philadelphia artist and art instructor. She works with a studio in Sugarcreek called Factory Street Art & Pottery. This new studio offers a variety of classes and supplies and provides gallery space that showcases area artists.
