Sixth grader Ashley Lahmers was nominated by Mrs. Wendy Rummell at Newcomerstown Middle School for being a "Game Changer" the week of Oct. 9, for helping her teammates during volleyball games. Mrs. Rummell said Ashley leads by example and show compassion and understanding toward her classmates.
Seventh grade student Jacie Tedrow was also nominated for her good deeds the week of Oct. 9, by her classmate and friend, Roberta Donathan, "for helping to move stuff from lockers, and for being a helpful and supportive teammate during volleyball games."
Destiny Davis and Colton Humbert, both eighth grade students at NMS, were nominated by Mrs. Wendy Rummell for behavior they exhibit every day, saying "they are always willing to help and do what is asked of them. Destiny and Colton both possess positive attitudes, are enthusiastic, and show compassion toward their classmates."
School officials offered congratulations to all four of these students for helping to make the school a better place.
