Christmas Parade

The Newcomerstown Christmas Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. in downtown Newcomerstown. The line-up begins at noon at Newcomerstown High School. Santa Claus will be at the East Elementary School immediately following the parade with treats and refreshments. Class of 1957

The Newcomerstown High School Class of 1957 will gather for lunch at the New Philadelphia Elks on Dec. 5 at noon.

Road closing

State Route 93

Beginning Monday, Nov. 13, SR 93 will be closed while ODOT crews work on vegetation management. Crews will begin north of Otsego and work towards the Coshocton County line. Work hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The road will reopen at the end of the day. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 24, weather permitting. Meeting change

The Ridgewood Board of Education Building and Grounds Committee will meet Thursday, Nov. 16, from 3-4 p.m. at the Ridgewood High School Media Center.

Turkey supper

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at the corner of High and Arch streets in Port Washington will host its annual Turkey Supper and Bazaar from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15. The event is open to the public and carry-out is available. The menu will include turkey and dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles, green beans, assorted salads, assorted desserts, bread and beverage. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Holiday Bazaar

The West Union United Methodist Church Women’s Fellowship will host its annual "Holiday Bazaar" from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, in the church basement. There will be crafts and gift items, a bake sale and a donation-only food stand. The church is located at 13679 Gilmore Road, Gilmore.
