DOVER — A representative from Union Hospital is going to be at Dover Public Library's Wednesday morning Storytime to teach healthy eating habits to children and their caregivers.

"It's never too early to develop a love of good food that is good for you," says Youth Services Manager Claire Kandle.

This Healthy Habits Storytime will be in the community room at 11 a.m. for children and caregivers ages 2 and up, and there will be no 10 a.m. Storytime that day. Call the library at 330-343-6123 for more information. Online registration is available at http://www.doverlibrary.org/event-calendar/.

Kids will have a chance to create their own foil drawings during this second Art Club session at Dover Public Library. Foil drawing is a simple yet detailed technique that has gained recent popularity with art teachers since it appeared on the "Make it a Wonderful Life" blog (http://makeitawonderfullife.blogspot.com/search/label/foil%20owls).

"This is a great way to put some pizzazz into an original drawing," says Youth Services Manager Claire Kandle. The first class will take place March 15 at 3:45 p.m. "We will spend a little time during this first class discussing the technique to make sure we understand how each step contributes to the finished product," says Kandle.

The second class will take place Thursday, April 12, at 3:45 p.m., with a makeup session to be held May 24.

Kandle said, "Just like last time, it's okay to arrive up to 15 minutes late if you have difficulty getting here right after school."
