• Newcomerstown Elks Lodge 1555 and the Nazarene Church will sponsor the Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 24, at the Newcomerstown Cy Young Park beginning at 10 a.m. Age groups are 0-2 (with or without help), 3-4, 5-7, 8-10. There will be eggs filled with candy and money as well as "special" eggs.
• The annual Easter cookie and candy sale at Christ United Methodist Church will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 24. Those attending can pick and choose for $6.50 per pound. The event is in the River of Life Community Center, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown. Funds will benefit the River Ringers and the Cuba Mission Team.
• Roscoe United Methodist Church near Historic Roscoe Village (475 High St., Coshocton) will have its fifth annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m. This is open to area youngsters. Come join the fun and have a picture taken with Miss Tulip. • Bring your family to the 2500 Easter EGGsplosion Sunday, April 1 at 10 a.m. at Chili Crossroads Bible Church 29445 County Road 10 Fresno. The free event includes Amish cinnamon rolls, face painting, egg catapult with real eggs. Register children for a special prize at www.ChiliEaster.com or call 740-545-9707.
