COSHOCTON COUNTY - As work begins on the SR-16/SR-541 bridge replacement project, drivers will see changes to traffic patterns next week.

Beginning Tuesday, April 10, the ramp to get on eastbound SR-541 from westbound SR-16 will be restricted at the top of the ramp. This ramp is located in the SW corner of the interchange. The right merge lane onto eastbound SR-541 will be closed. Drivers will have to continue straight on the ramp to the stop sign at the top of the ramp. At the stop sign, traffic will be able to turn either direction onto SR-541 or proceed straight on to Whitewoman Street. This restriction of this ramp will remain in place until the ramp is closed in 2019 for the reconstruction of this ramp.

On Thursday, April 12, the entrance ramp from SR-541 to westbound SR-16 will be restricted at the top of the ramp. This ramp is located in the NW corner of the interchange. Drivers can access westbound SR-16 by turning north onto Whitewoman Street toward Roscoe Village, then turning right on to the ramp for SR-16. This restriction will be in place until the ramp is to be closed for reconstruction later in the 2018 construction season.

On Wednesday, April 18, SR-541 at SR-16 will shifted into the Phase 1 traffic pattern for bridge work. Traffic will be shifted to the south side of the bridges and reduced to one lane in each direction on SR-541. This traffic pattern change will be on SR-541 between Whitewoman Street and Second Street in the City of Coshocton.

Until these traffic pattern changes occur, there will be daily temporary lane restrictions in preparation.
