NEW PHILADELPHIA — A former Newcomerstown man sentenced in February for sexual conduct with a teenager has been indicted again on a charge of engaging in unlawful sexual conduct with the same girl.
Brian G. Glazer, 22, is scheduled to be arraigned May 14.
He is currently being treated in a program for convicted sex offenders at the Eastern Ohio Correctional Center in Wintersville.
According to a report from the Community Corrections Program, Glazer and his 15-year-old victim both said they engaged in sexual intercourse three times between Feb. 2 and Feb. 5.
The alleged incidents occurred during the time Glazer was free on his own recognizance under terms of a pre-sentence release granted by Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Edward O’Farrell.
The judge found Glazer guilty Jan. 4 of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Under terms of his pre-sentencing release, Glazer was to have no contact with the victim.
After Glazer was arrested for the incidents that allegedly occurred during the first weekend of February, O’Farrell, signed a Feb. 7 order that Glazer was to stay in jail until his sentencing.
O’Farrell sentenced Glazer on Feb. 15 to 10 months in prison, which included treatment at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. Glazer was given two years’ probation and was designated as a Tier 2 sex offender, required to register his address with the sheriff in his county of residence every 180 days for 25 years.
