Newcomerstown Mayor Pat Cadle has announced the 2018 leaf pick-up schedule.
"We have reached that time of year when leaves are coming down and the Street Department is asking for your cooperation in their removal," Mayor Cadle said. "We will use the same schedule as last year’s clean-up. Leaves are to be raked into the street on your assigned day. Rake them about one foot from the curb, which allows the water to flow to the drains. Crews will start at 7 a.m. It is important that you rake your leaves into the street the night before your schedule day. Crews will only make one pass each day! Don’t place brush and trash in your piles of leaves. If these items are found, the leaves will not be picked up! If you have any questions, call 740-498-8655 and leave a message. I will return your call as soon as possible."
