saw a sign a few weeks ago that said, "All I have seen teaches me to trust the creator for all I have not (seen)."
When I read that I right away thought of Psalm 19:1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. I watched the clouds, as I do many days when I drive. The beauty of the trees, the fall leaves, the sunshine, and even the rain tell me that I can trust the God who created it all. I watch the clouds and remember that God’s Word tells me that one day Jesus will step out on the clouds to call His children home.
Over the years I have seen God’s hand at work in so many ways. Prayers have been answered time after time. Healing has come, lives have been changed, hearts mended, and souls saved. Souls have gone on to Glory which is a loss, yet a praise also, even as His Word said it would be. New life is given; another blessing from Him.
Missionaries bring stories of the work being done in places far away. I hear Pastors preach and teach the truth taken from the Bible. Brothers and sisters give testimony to answered prayer.
I’ve known the very real presence of God in my life, talked with angels, and been blessed with the love of many sisters in Christ. All I have seen and heard has served to remind me that I can trust the God who made it all happen.
Though I don’t need more to cause me to trust, the blessings continue to come, each one reminding me that I truly can trust the work of His hands and His love.
