NEW PHILADELPHIA — Schoenbrunn Village will present Christmas in the Village on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 1-4 p.m.
"Bring your family and join us for a delightful afternoon of traditional Moravian festivities celebrating the Christmas season," officials said. "The Village will be filled with the holiday spirit. Cabins will be decorated with evergreens and candle light. Visitors are encouraged to sing along with carols in the church, candle wrapping, scripture readings, Moravian treats and sweets, evergreen swags and folded Moravian stars as a take home craft. Allow the sights, sounds, and smells to transport you back to a simpler time and enjoy the warmth of the Christmas season."
The Village Gift Shop will feature Christmas ornaments, stained-glass Moravian stars, 18th century Children’s toys, books and handmade baskets. There will be a wreath and basket raffle so come, view, and donate for a chance to win a beautiful, decorative display.
