FORT WORTH, Texas -- Judith Anne Beiter Howell, 68, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, after courageously fighting a three-year battle with stage four cancer.

Judith was born Dec. 27, 1941, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late John and Anita Thompson Beiter.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, an avid genealogist, a true American patriot, and a passionate Ohio State Buckeyes fan!

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank Dr. Henry Xiong and his staff for their loving care and compassion shown over the last three years.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James J. Howell of Newcomerstown, Ohio; daughters, Julie Howell and Christine Nugent; grandchildren, Deiter Boyles, Zachary Howell, Nicholas Nugent, Sarah Holmbeck and Benjamin Nugent; sister, Nancy Hutchinson; nephews, David and Timothy Hutchinson; five brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and 19 nieces and nephews, all from the Howell side of the family.

Funeral services were Nov. 4, 2010, in the Greenwood Chapel of the Greenwood Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas. Interment followed in the Dallas-Fort-Worth National Cemetery in Texas.
