Ellsworth Eugene Heston, 79, Kimbolton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospitals, Columbus.
He was born April 12, 1931, in Port Washington, to the late Ellsworth John Heston and Lourina Pearl (Bishard) Heston.
He was a Port Washington High School, graduate of 1949.
He was a Korean U.S. Air Force veteran.
He retired from Simonds Cutting Tool of Newcomerstown after 31 years and was also a farmer. He was formerly employed with RCA of Cambridge and Alsco of Gnadenhutten.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Elnora (Cobler) Heston, whom he married Oct. 18, 1952.
He is also survived by two sons, David (Teresa) Heston and Ellsworth Dewane Heston; two daughters, Debra Heston and Jenetta (Frank) Steed, all of Kimbolton; grandchildren, Ruby Heston, Jennifer Heston, Sophia (Brad) Musgrave, Stefan Heston, Alex Miskimen, Zac Miskimen, Jimmy Steed and Michael Steed; one great-grandchild, Desire' Correa; two brothers, Raymond Heston of Newcomerstown and Clifford (Mary) Heston of Kimbolton; four sisters, Norma Rogers of Coshocton, Reba (Robert) Little and Virginia (Willis) Shearer, all of Newcomerstown, and Vera (Dwight) Clark of Kimbolton; and a sister-in-law, Betty Horner of Catoosa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruby Elaine Heston; one brother, Lee Heston; a sister, Juanita Brandon; and three infant sisters.
Services were Feb. 24, 2011, at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Joe Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in the Flat Ridge Cemetery in Kimbolton. A military graveside service was conducted.
