Vivian Jean Beall, 81, of Newcomerstown, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at her residence.
She was born April 26, 1929, in Tuscarawas County, to the late Raymond Hursey and Mabel (Durben) Hursey.
She was a homemaker and did baby-sitting. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown.
She bowled for a lot of years in many different leagues and enjoyed archery. She loved being with her family and grandchildren.
On Nov. 22, 1948, she married Ronald E. Beall, who died Nov. 12, 2004.
Surviving are three daughters, Pat (Richard) Bichard of Kimbolton, Debbie (Dave) Elliott and Ronalda (Rance) Rose, all of Newcomerstown; two sons, Bob (April) Beall of Newcomerstown and Joe (Myrtle) Beall of Kimbolton; 13 grandchildren, Nick Harstine, Justin Harstine, Heather Brookover (Wes), Josh Beall (Britney), Katie Beall, Libby Beal, Jackie Beall, Travis Bichard (Sharon), Klint Bichard, Chad Elliott (Tarez), Ashlee Elliott, David Elliott (Vycki), Lori Stevens (Dave); nine great-grandchildren, Kiersten Bichard, Ashten Bichard, Candace Elliott, Andrianna Elliott, Landon Brookover, Trenton Brookover, Sidney Beall, Kelsey Beall, and Brynlee Alverson; one brother, Lester "Bud" (Bev) Hursey of West Lafayette; and a canine companion, Rusty.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Hursey and Dane Hursey; and a sister, Marge Williams.
Services were March 21, 2011, in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Tom Barber and the Rev. Donald Silverthorne officiating.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
