CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Carolyn "Moochie" Beck, 67, of Freeport, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her home.

She was born June 20, 1943, in Akron, a daughter of the late Jimmie Ruffini and Maxine (Patton) Ruffini.

She was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Class of 1961.

Mrs. Beck was a housewife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, who enjoyed fishing, quilting, traveling and cooking. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Graydon L. Beck of the home, they married on Aug. 31, 1963; two sons, Jim (Missy) Beck of Stow and Robert C. (Lou Ann) Beck of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Timothy R., Ashley A., Keith E., Cassandra J. Beck, Eric Hohn and Nichole White; great-grandchildren, Isabell Nicolette, Kameron Edward and Aubrey A. Beck; and many friends including, Meredith Lynden, Barb Menteer, Kathy Carrol, Gloria Evans and Michelle Gray.

A memorial service was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, on Thursday, June 2, 2011.

Pastor Thomas W. McCann officiated the service.

The Bundy-Law Funeral Home in Cambridge was in charge of arrangements.
