Freda M. Clark, 83, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011, at Union Hospital in Dover.
She was born Saturday, Aug. 27, 1927, in Newcomerstown, to the late Charles Bayliss (C.B.) and Agnes (Hall) Guy.
A graduate of Newcomerstown High School, she worked at the former Curtiss Jewelry in Newcomerstown.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling and was the secretary of the Thursday Night League for many years.
She was also a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown.
On Saturday, Dec. 18, 1948, she married Leman D. Clark, who died March 5, 1988.
She is survived by three daughters, Pam (Mike) McCrone Jacksonville, Fla., Cheryl (Mike) Porcher, Debarah (Jim) Kovach, all of Newcomerstown; one son Leman (Penny) Clark of Newcomerstown; she will be greatly missed by her 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Guy of Beach City of Ruth (Noah) Garris of Lancaster; and her dearest lifelong friend, Iris Stratton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bayliss Guy and his wife Rosemary, and Bradley Guy.
Services were Monday, July 11, 2011, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with the Rev. Larry Hukill officiating.
Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
