Norazella V. Gunn, 81, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newcomerstown.

She was born March 3, 1930, in Caldwell, to the late George E. Saylor and Norene D. (Lewis) Saylor.

She was a 1948 Newcomerstown High School graduate, a housewife, and was a member of Wolf-Salem United Methodist Church.

On Aug. 29, 1948, she married John A. Gunn, who passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2011.

She is survived by two sons, John R. (Dee A.) Gunn of Newcomerstown and Talmage L. (Darla K.) Gunn of Port Washington; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; three brothers, George Saylor of Spokan, Wash., Jack Saylor of Isleta, and Jim Saylor of Kansas; and one sister, Linda Tice of Newcomerstown.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Frosty Saylor; and two sisters, Moira Tufford and Connie Saylor.

A memorial service took place Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, in the Wolf-Salem United Methodist Church, Stonecreek Road, Newcomerstown, with the Rev. Garry Marlatt officiating. There was no visitation. The Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown was in charge of arrangements.
