Gloria Ann Hildebrand-Workman, 84, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, in Panama City, Fla.
She was born March 26, 1928, to Dr. and Mrs.(Carma) Roy D. Hildebrand.
She was a 1946 graduate of Newcomerstown High School.
Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed collecting dolls, listening to Frank Sinatra and was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a lifelong homemaker and had worked in real estate and as a volunteer at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.
Gloria was very loyal to her hometown and looked forward all year to her annual visits to Newcomerstown. During her illness, she frequently said, "I just want to go home."
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Workman; and son, Brent Workman.
She is survived by son, Bruce, granddaughter, Jessica Workman, grandson, Lane Workman, and daughter-in-law, Tammy Workman of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Frances Hildebrand Baker (Richard) of Senecaville; and nieces and nephews.
Her memory is cherished by her sister and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Christ Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown.
Burial will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and her parents.
