Stanley Leroy Fish, 79, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
He was born Thursday, Nov. 9, 1933, in Leesville, to the late Floyd and Blanche (Aston) Fish.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He retired in 1996 from the Firestone Rubber Co. in Akron as a senior programmer after 40 years of service. He was a member of Gnadenhutten Moravian Church, Masonic Lone Star Lodge 175, Eastern Star - Oriential Chapter, Scottish Rite of Canton, and Shrine Club of Akron.
On Saturday, Aug. 13, 1977, he married Shirley A. (Shearer) Fish, who survives.
He is also survived by six sons, Kevan (Sheri) Fish of Massillon, Dale Fish of Inman, S.C., Glenn (Corrine) Fish of Massillon, Kenny (Toni) Fish, Lee Allen (Tonya) Fish and, Allen Lee (Sharla) Fish, all of Newcomerstown; one daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Mowery of Newcomerstown; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Naomi Klapper.
Services were Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Darrell Johnson officiating.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
Masonic Services also took place.
