Anna Jean Hendershot, 74, of West Lafayette, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 16, 1937, to the late Fred and Christine (Mason) Dillon.
On March 4, 1972, Anna married Leonard Hendershot, who survives.
She retired after 25 years of service with General Electric in Coshocton.
She graduated from South Charleston High School in 1955.
In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by her children, Artie (Debbie) Kinder of West Lafayette, Ronnie (Candy) Kinder of Dublin, Jeff (Amy) Hendershot of Alliance, Chuck Hendershot of Massillon and her adopted daughter, Van (Ha) Nguyen of Powell; her brothers, George (Bobbie) Dillon of Senacaville, Joe (Maribel) Dillon of Miami, Fla., Jerry (Nancy) Dillon of Fresno, Stanley Dillon of Miami, Fla.; and her sisters, Sarah (James) Correll of Monroe, Ga., and Gertrude Cook and her companion, Ralph Ruiz of Tampa, Fla.; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Holstine and Carol Wills; and one granddaughter, Ashley Haidet.
At Anna's request, there will be no visitation or services.
