Bonnie L. Bond, 79, of Newcomerstown, and most recently a resident of Riverside Manor, Newcomerstown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Union Hospital, Dover.
She was born Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1933, in Dennison, to the late Roy and Mary (Maffit) Parker.
On June 12, 1949, she married Richard Bond, who passed away Oct. 16, 2008.
Bonnie retired from Indian Valley Schools after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Ron (Barb) of Dover and Roger (Gina) of Newcomerstown; her grandchildren, Erin (Troy) Giesey, Ryan (Katie), Randy, Robb, Kacy, and Stacy Bond; and her great-grandchildren, Claire, Ethan and Emma Giesey, and Willow Bond and Rylynn Ross; two sisters, Grace McCray of Bradenton, Fla., and Doris LeMonte of Uhrichsville; and her brother, Glenn (Flo) of Dennison.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her two infant sons, Rodney and Randall Bond; her brothers, Dean and Carl Parker; and her sister, Betty McNely.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Tom Gardner officiating.
Burial was in Union Cemetery in Port Washington.
