John Henry Berger, 68, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1944, in Coshocton, to the late John Henry Berger Sr. and Maxine Ann (Meek) Berger, who survives of Newcomerstown.

He worked at Heller Tools in Newcomerstown and was a senior field erector for Goss International. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown and Kettering.

On June 21, 1961, he married Beverly Sue (Grubbs) Berger, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Vickie L (Dana) Berger Clark of Kettering; a son, James J. (Christine) Berger of Miamisburg; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Morgan Kristine, Patrick and Russell Berger, and David, Johnathan, and Jennifer Brubaker; twin step-grandchildren, Savanna and Sacha Clark; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Breanna Green; three brothers, Donald (Marge) Berger, C. Thomas (Tina) Berger, William (Sandi) Berger, all of Newcomerstown; and two sisters, Mary Berger Lambes of Kimbolton and Pam (Greg) Berger Hogan of Mt. Home, Ark.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Russell Whyde officiating.

Burial was in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
