Charles F. Blankenship Sr., 63, of Kimbolton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at OSU Medical Center.

He was born April 13, 1950, in Iaeger, W.Va., to the late Elmer E. Blankenship Sr. and Martha (Steele) Blankenship of

Kimbolton.

He was retired from Ohio Valley Coal Company. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar and spending time with family.

On Dec. 8, 1972, he married Sherry (Durben) Blankenship, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Charles F. Blankenship Jr. of Chicago, Ill., and Scott L. Blankenship of Kimbolton; one daughter, Tracy A. Blankenship of New

Philadelphia; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Elmer E. Blankenship Jr. of Kimbolton, Ronnie L. (Crystal) Blankenship of Kimbolton, Chris P. (Becky) Blankenship of Tuscalusa, Ala.; three sisters, Ruth C. Graves of Columbus, Linda D. Williamson of Quaker City, Delores J. (Ed) Furbee of Kimbolton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Mike Crank officiating.

He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
