Thelma Mock passed away March 17, 2017, at the age of 91 in Merced, Calif..
She was born June 29, 1925, to the late Charles and Martha Addy Rector in Newcomerstown.
She graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1943. She then moved to Tuscon, Ariz. where she met and married Robert (Bob) Mock in 1958 while working for the Southern Pacific Railroad. After retiring from the Southern Pacific Railroad, they traveled to many states in their motorhome. Their last permanent home was located in Edgerton, Ohio.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Bob in 1997; step-daughter, Cindy Cates; brothers, Brice Rector and John Rector; sisters, Mary Paton, Lottie Rector, Ruth Rector, Lillie Rector Parish, and Della Rector Broyles.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Rector Rhodes of Merced, Calif.; a step-daughter, Yvonda Robinette of Arkansas; step-grandson, James Cates of Texas and many nieces and nephews.
Private burial was beside her husband at the Butler, Indiana Cemetery.
