PORT WASHINGTON — Roger P. Stone, 71, of Port Washington passed away Tuesday, (March 6, 2018) at his residence.
He was born Oct. 15, 1946 in Cambridge to the late Larry and Marjorie (Rose) Stone. He was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a self-employed painter.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha J. (Danley) Stone, whom he married on March 5, 1967. He is also survived by his three daughters, Theresa Rose of Coshocton, Irene Stone and Priscilla Stone of Newcomerstown; one son, Charles Stone of Newcomerstown; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne (Marie) Mathews of Cambridge.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lisa Stone; and his brother, Don Rose.
Graveside service were Thursday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at Kimbolton Cemetery with Pastor Arnold VanHorn officiating. Military services were conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
