Hospice plans fundraising event

Editor:

The staff and volunteers of Hospice of Tuscarawas, Stark and Carroll counties have served our community with care and compassion for the past 20 years. Hospice of Carroll County provides patient care through skilled and professionals and trained volunteers, regardless of financial situation.

Every year our volunteers participate in a number of activities to help raise money so that we may provide patient care for the terminally ill without additional financial burden on the families of those patients.

This year, we will be introducing "Treasures of Time: Antique Appraisals and Auction." This fundraiser will be held on Sunday, March 21 at the Days Inn in Carrollton. This unique event will give you a chance to have a wonderful afternoon, while helping Hospice of Tuscarawas, Stark and Carroll counties.

Please bring one item from the following categories to be appraised by our team with knowledge in a variety of areas including and not limited to glassware, coins, jewelry, watches, military and firearms, pottery, china and collectibles. Along with toys, linens, quilts, primitives and small furniture.

The event also features a silent auction from 1 to 3 p.m. with many items old and new. This will be followed by a live auction at 4 p.m. With all proceeds from this auction and event going to patient care in Carroll County.

Tickets for the event are $10 each and are available at the Hospice of Carroll County office at (330) 627-4796, the Browse and Buy at (330) 627-9191 or any Hospice of Carroll County volunteer. Only advanced tickets will be sold.

Thank you for your help and support of this event.
