I recently tried to restore a rocky relationship with a bank. I was told by them a while back that I could not get a gas card with them because it would cost them more to handle the account then what they would make from me. I have always believed in paying my bills. It had made my credit too good.

I opened a checking account with them and arranged direct deposit. They didn't do anything but returned my direct deposit which held up my money for two weeks. I believed that they did it to mess my credit. I have found out how some banks can be. I may need a personal loan soon and now a credit union will get my business.

In six months, I plan to cut all ties with the bank because the government is making me have a savings account with them to cash a U.S. Savings Bond. Looks like some banks do not want my business.
