Journey's End Ministries would like to gratefully thank the community for an outstanding response to our Feinstein fund raising effort this spring. At our recent board meeting, it was announced that we had raised $17,000 from local churches, businesses, and individuals. We have not yet received our funding from the Feinstein trust but expect it to be an additional $1,500.

There continues to be a great need in the community for food and clothing and we are up about 7 percent over last year, while our food expenses are up about 15 percent. We continue to be very thankful for our monthly supporters and are especially encouraged by the donations received from our clients.

We continue to have a slight problem with furniture drop-offs and want to reiterate that we do not take large items such as couches, love seats, mattresses etc. We recently had a dilapidated, water-logged kitchen dropped off which was nothing more than garbage. Please do not bring us items like that. What we have to spend money to get rid of junk it cuts into our food budget.

I also want to repeat that items dropped off are left on private property and it is stealing to remove them from our property. Unfortunately we will have to install security cameras to eliminate this problem. Any client found stealing items will lose all privileges.

Finally, I would like to mention that we are in need of grocery carts.

Thanks again for everyone's kind prayers and donations. We feel God is using this ministry in a mighty way and encourage everyone to stop in and pray with us.

God Bless!
